Introduction To HTML

HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language.
It is used to create web pages.
To execute HTML documents we require a browser. Any browser can be used to execute HTML for example: Internet, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Opera etc,.
It provides a simple protocol through which we are able to request information like text, graphics, sound, movie, images, etc stored at remote system using networks.
The browser internally contains interpreter it will read the HTML document.
To write the HTML documents we can use any editor like notepad, word-pad, ms.word etc.,
All the HTML files have either .htm or .html as file extensions.
